Thickness: 3mm
Size: This acrylic sheet is cut to a rectangular shape with 5 size options including 300x200mm, 300x600mm, 600x400mm, 900x600mm and 600x1200mm
Acrylic Type: Extruded acrylic with gloss finish and grey backing.
Masking: This acrylic comes with a plastic protective film on the mirror side. The grey backing may also have a paper protective layer on top of it. As we laser cut the panels to size, sometimes we have to remove this paper layer if it appears to be lifting or is wrinkled (fire safety). If the paper is lifting or wrinkled, it is recommended to remove the paper before cutting.

What is the difference between White Backing and Grey Backing?
Each customer will have their own preferences and some will use both types, whereas some will prefer one over the other.
The key difference is that they have a different rear paint layer and application process. White backing has a smooth matte finish which has been sprayed on, whereas grey backing has a more slippery textured surface that has been applied by a roller.
Please note:

- Please keep acrylic sheets stored flat, away from heat and not in direct sunlight.
- Acrylic sheets may occasionally have very minor imperfections on the protective film or actual sheet.
- As this is an extruded acrylic, do not clean or use alcohol or harsh solvents to clean. This can cause cracking of the mirror layer.
- Whenever cutting this material make sure you are using proper fume extraction with adequate airflow.
- We do our best to accurately represent colours. Website colours can also appear slightly different depending on your screen type or device used.
- Acrylic thickness can vary slightly from the advertised 3mm. +/- 10% is the common level of tolerance.
- Although we have invested heavily in super flat highly supportive racking to best store our acrylic, some sheets may have some minor curve to them from transit or manufacturing.
- All acrylic orders requiring delivery will be packed into high quality boxes that we’ve had customized to fit each acrylic size.
