Thickness: Available in 3mm
Material: This pastel shimmer acrylic is a cast acrylic with a Gloss finish to both sides.
Dual Tone: The front side has shimmer finish that changes the colour depth of the acrylic depending on the angle. The rear is a non shimmer semi translucent colour (see images). This provides dual purpose, similar to our metallic range.
Masking: This acrylic comes with a plastic protective film on both sides
Important:
- Specialty acrylic sheets can have a slight curve to them. We have noticed this with the Pastel Shimmer range.
- Sheets can occasionally have imperfections such as minor surface scratch or colour blemish. This should be very rare but may occur.
- Designed for indoor use.
Storage: Please keep acrylic sheets stored flat, away from heat and not in direct sunlight.
Adhesive tape: Printed Panels can also apply a double sided adhesive tape to the back of your 300x600mm, 400x600mm and 900x600mm acrylic sheet. View here for details.
Please note:
- Some glitter sheets will have a different depth of colour on each side with one side slightly darker than the other.
- All acrylic orders requiring delivery will be packed into high quality boxes that we’ve had customized to fit each acrylic size.
- The acrylic sheets we send may be slightly larger than their listed dimensions. Eg: 1200 x 600mm are often 1220 x 605mm, 600 x 400mm are often 605 x 404mm and 600 x 300mm are often 605 x 304mm. These extra millimeters can be helpful Eg. cutting a 600mm circle. The only sheet size which will be exactly cut to size is the 300 x 200mm size.
- Whenever cutting this material make sure you are using proper fume extraction with adequate airflow.
- Although we have invested heavily in super flat highly supportive racking to best store our acrylic, some sheets may have some minor flex to them from transit or manufacturing.
- We do our best to accurately represent colours. Website colours can also appear slightly different depending on your screen type or device used.
- Acrylic thickness can vary slightly from the advertised 3mm. +/- 10% is the common level of tolerance.
- We set a high quality threshold for what is packed, however occasionally some very minor imperfections may be present to the protective film or sheet surface.
- Acrylic protective films can deteriorate overtime. It is recommended not store them in direct sunlight when the protective layer is still on.
