Acrylic Type: Cast acrylic with paper protective film. Matte finish to the front and a gloss finish to the back of the sheet.
Quality Grade: AB
Front: A Grade (Matte)
Back: B Grade (Gloss)
Comment: Occasional minor depressions (dimples) have been found randomly on the gloss side of some sheets within the batch. As a precaution we have downgraded this entire pallet of acrylic. The matte side seems unaffected. The protective paper/film may have minor wrinkles. These minor imperfections are hard to see so take advantage of the reduced pricing.
Adhesive tape: Printed Panels can also apply a double sided adhesive tape to the back of your 300x600mm and 400x600mm acrylic sheets. View here for details.
Please note:
- Acrylic sheets may occasionally have very minor imperfections on the protective film or actual sheet. Downgraded sheets have a higher likelihood of this and therefore have a discounted price.
- All acrylic orders requiring delivery will be packed into high quality boxes that we’ve had customized to fit each acrylic size.
- Wrinkled paper may create a slight fogging on the surface when laser cut. This can be cleaned off using isopropyl alcohol or similar.
- Please keep acrylic sheets stored flat, away from heat and not in direct sunlight.
- The acrylic sheets we send may be slightly larger than their listed dimensions. Eg: 1200 x 600mm are often 1220 x 605mm. These extra millimeters can be helpful Eg. cutting a 600mm circle. The only sheet size which will always be cut to exact dimensions is the 300 x 200mm option.
- Whenever cutting this material make sure you are using proper fume extraction with adequate airflow.
- Although we have invested heavily in super flat highly supportive racking to best store our acrylic, some sheets may have some minor curve to them from transit or manufacturing.
- We do our best to accurately represent colours. Website colours can also appear slightly different depending on your screen type or device used.
- Acrylic thickness can vary slightly from the advertised 3mm. +/- 10% is the common level of tolerance.
- Acrylic protective films can deteriorate overtime. It is recommended not store them in direct sunlight when the protective layer is still on.
