Description
Recent batches of this product have seen a darker grain on the rear veneer. The rear of these veneered MDF sheets uses a downgraded veneer, so not ideal for two sided products.
Choose from 6 cutting options labelled from A to F. Please see images to better understand cut difference.

Sheet Size: The full sheet size is 1200x2400mm and is cut to either 600x1200mm, 900x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x400mm
What to expect with and veneered plywood
– Cuts are consistent due to it having an MDF core layer
– These sheets are carefully setup by hand and then compressed by machinery. Sometimes the veneer layer can be slightly longer or shorter than the MDF sheet. Allow a variance of +/- 5mm on each end of the full sheet.
– Cuts should also allow +/-5mm. A 600x900mm cut option may be 605x895mm as example.
What does the downgraded back look like?
For crown cut sheets, often the rear downgraded side may have a quarter cut veneer instead. The back may then look slightly different but will be the same timber species used. It may also be a little rougher and can look a little less refined. Below is an example, but in this case the difference was very subtle. Sometimes there is a more dramatic difference between the front and back, and ultimately depends on the batch. So the downgraded back could have a very different appearance. Â A downgraded back is used to help keep costs down.
All of our veneered plywood sheets have a thickness of 4mm.
Q. Are the sheets flat?
A. As these sheets use MDF which is a very stable core layer, we have found this product to be very flat and easy to work with. It is always best to keep sheets away from heat or sunlight and stored under a thicker board to both insulate as well as keep the sheets flat.
Q. How do you package the plywood
A. Similar to our other plywood’s, stock is carefully handled, cut and packaged. We use heavy duty custom boxes to send the majority of our products including plywood. Below is 600x400mm and 600x600mm orders being packed.

- It is recommended to store your plywood sheet with a weight on top of the entire sheet and to store in a dry area out of direct sunlight or varying temperatures.
- Sheet measurements may have a variance of +/- 5mm as we do us a vertical panel saw to cutdown plywood
- Whenever cutting this material make sure you are using proper fume extraction ventilated outdoors with adequate airflow
